E-MYTH / Capabilities
Mobile app design and development
We design and build mobile apps for customers and field teams, starting with a focused first version, connected to the backend and systems you rely on, and supported through store publishing and updates.
For businesses in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar with a clear job an app must do for customers or staff. We work remotely across the region.
What we build
Customer apps
Accounts, bookings, orders, payments and notifications for your customers, in Arabic and English.
Field and staff apps
Jobs, checklists, photos and updates captured on a phone and available to your office team without a second entry.
First versions (MVP)
The smallest version that does the core job well, released to real users before anything else is built.
How first-version scope affects cost
When this is the right service
- Customers or staff repeat the same task often, on the move.
- The job needs the phone itself: camera, location or notifications.
- A mobile website already exists but cannot do what users need.
- You need the app connected to your own systems, not a standalone tool.
- You want to test the idea with real users before a full build.
Let a field team update a job from their phone and make that update available to your operations team without a second entry.
How we work
Discovery and first-version scope
- You provide
- The core job, the users, and the systems and data the app needs.
- You receive
- A first-version scope, a platform recommendation and a proposal with an estimate. Material scope changes later are agreed separately.
Flows and design
- You provide
- Feedback in agreed review rounds.
- You receive
- Screen flows and approved designs for iOS and Android, in Arabic and English.
Build, backend and integrations
- You provide
- Access to the APIs and systems the app connects to.
- You receive
- Test builds on your own devices throughout development.
Testing and store submission
- You provide
- Apple and Google developer accounts in your name, and final acceptance.
- You receive
- A tested release and support through App Store and Google Play submission.
Release and learn
- You provide
- Feedback from real users.
- You receive
- A handover, and a list of what to improve next based on real use.
What you receive and own
You receive
- The app released to the App Store and Google Play under your accounts
- The backend or API the app needs, as agreed in the scope
- Design files
- For custom-code projects: repository access and environment and configuration documentation
- Written handover notes on releasing updates
You own
- Apple and Google developer accounts, store listings and backend hosting are in your name wherever possible.
- Ownership of the custom source code and design deliverables created for the project is transferred to you at handover, subject to the agreed contract, full payment and any third-party or open-source licences.
- Your users’ data remains yours, with admin access to the systems we configure.
- Open-source libraries, third-party software, licensed fonts and assets, SaaS platforms and external APIs stay under their own licences.
Anything not explicitly included in the agreed scope, such as copywriting, store screenshots and listing copy, developer account fees, paid third-party services, advanced integrations, ongoing maintenance or new features, is quoted separately unless the proposal says otherwise.
Technology and integrations
We usually evaluate cross-platform first when it fits the product, timeline and device requirements, and recommend native development when the requirements justify it. The framework is chosen per project. Typical building blocks:
Apps connect to your systems through REST APIs and webhooks: CRMs, booking tools, payment gateways, maps and messaging services. We confirm each integration against the provider’s documentation during discovery.
Arabic and English, built together
Arabic screens are laid out right to left from the start, with Arabic typography, numbers and dates handled properly, and the app follows the language of the device or the user’s choice.
We serve businesses in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar remotely, and across the wider GCC and MENA region.
How the work is checked
- Testing on real supported iOS and Android devices, not only simulators
- Arabic and English reviewed separately before release
- Accessibility checks: text scaling, contrast, touch targets and screen-reader labels
- Secure handling of sign-in, sessions and stored data
- Store submissions prepared against Apple and Google review guidelines
- A written scope that states what is included and what is not
We do not publish client case studies yet. Interfaces shown on this site are labelled examples, not client work. On a call we can walk you through our process, deliverables and the standards above.
Budget and timeline
Budget depends mostly on the scope of the first version, the number of platforms, the backend and integrations, and the testing effort. Developer accounts and third-party services are separate running costs. You receive an estimate after discovery, before build work starts.
Mobile app development cost explainedAfter launch
Launch and handover are part of every project. What happens after that is agreed in writing, in the proposal or a maintenance agreement, including response times.
Defects in delivered work
If something we delivered does not work as specified, we fix it under the terms of the project agreement.
Maintenance and version updates
Updates for new iOS and Android versions, dependency and security updates, monitoring and small improvements, as agreed in a maintenance agreement.
New features
Features for the next version are scoped and estimated separately, based on what users actually do.
Frequently asked questions
Native or cross-platform?
We usually evaluate cross-platform first, since one codebase can serve iOS and Android, when it fits the product, timeline and device requirements. When the requirements justify native development, we recommend it during discovery, before you commit.
Do you publish the app to the stores?
We prepare and support the submission under your own developer accounts. Approval is decided by Apple and Google, so we follow their guidelines from the start and handle any review feedback.
What happens when iOS or Android update?
Apps need regular updates to stay compatible. Those updates are covered under a maintenance agreement or quoted separately; they are not open-ended free work.
Do we need a backend?
Most business apps do, for accounts, data and notifications. If you already have systems with APIs, the app can use them; otherwise we build what the first version needs.
